Buddy Clayburn |
The Clayburns moved their family to the beautiful state of Virginia from Long Island, New York. While in New York they established a dance company building a student base from eight to over 100 students. Brenda, a published author, has been involved in writing, drama and dance for over 25 years.
Since relocating to the Roanoke Valley, she has taught dance in the YWCA, several area churches and in the public school system. She has held drama camps, dance workshops and seminars.
Buddy is an accomplished saxophone player and serves as sound tech and co-director of Ministry In Motion.
For us praise is a lifestyle not an event.

Tiffany Dailey
Tiffany is the Assistant Director for MIM. She is a native of Roanoke, Virginia.
She says:
I did not have much exposure to church in my childhood years. What little that I did have, most certainly, did not include dance.
In March of 2002, a very close friend invited me to Easter Sunday Service. That Sunday, I was introduced to praise dance and to Brenda Clayburn. I was so emotionally touched by what I saw, it was all that I could think about. I would go back to church every Sunday, hoping to see more. A couple of months later I accepted Jesus as my Savior and realized that my purpose in this life was to dance for Him. Since then, I have witnessed how God is using this ministry to bless others and draw them closer to Him, just as he did with me.
One particular thing that I like about this ministry is that it is not about age, gender, race or with what denomination you are associated. It is about a group of people who come together to offer up praise and worship with the gift of dance.
Each time that I minister, I pray that people will not see me but, instead, see the Glory of God through me.
It is an honor and my personal goal to use this gift to spread the gospel, glorify God and lift up the name of Jesus. |
